Abstract
In this TGIF project, we will develop a truly world-class lab-on-chip design automation (LOCDA) model that can accelerate the design of LOC technologies. We gain solid barrier-to-entry advantage over existing solvers from our innovative technology involving advanced "fast" physics- based solvers. This breakthrough allows for large-scale 3D modeling and full-chip analysis and dramatic reduction in analysis times. We lose neither resolution nor accuracy in capturing all multiphysical affects such as fluidic flow, particle motion, and assisted-force coupling required by designers. To exploit this innovation, we propose a set of complementary methods (GUI, Code integration and Flow) that function together to create an Integrated LOCDA Model that addresses fast evaluation of LOC designs.
